Architect, designer, graffiti writer, sound producer – Mouch is an ecclectic mind from Ravenna, Italy.
Coming from the dark side of drum’n bass, fascinated by heavy beats, growling reeces and emotional atmospheres, Mouch was attracted to Dubstep in 2007. Since then he has been focusing on production at 140 bpm, taking inspiration from several musical genres. More recently, Mouch has further turned down the bpm and is now dedicating himself to producing deeper tunes inspired by garage, 2step, house and deep techno sounds. He combines his signature beats with hypnotic, catchy sounds which has turned him into a forefront producer with an innovative and fancy style. Linked up with many producers from all over the world, he’s had releases on a number of international Dubstep labels. Stay tuned for more big things to come from this cat soon!

Austin is the homebass of badman Parson, who graces release 3 of our back catalogue. Still Trill takes it minimal and gangsta like only Parson can, and Theophobia and Wake Up round out this quality release.

The mysterious RRKK is somewhat of an urban legend in Finland. While only having a small number of releases under his belt thus far, he is widely known in his home country for his beatmaking as part of the Ceebrolistics HipHop collective in the 90s specifically, but in general for making quality music in instrumental HipHop, Dubtechno and Dubstep for many years, and mostly keeping it to himself. However, this man’s time in the spotlight is fast approaching – watch out for a sick 12″ artist release forthcoming on Paradise Lost in the near future with a very special guest appearance on remix duties!

Saviour has been meticulously exploring the darker side of underground bass music for years. With a focus on spatial and progressive sounds, he crafts moody bangers for the eyes down crowd. He is part of the Stainage crew who has been doing the biggest Dubstep events in Brussels for time, and who is now putting out beats on their own label Stainage Records.

Debuting in 2005 on Graz’ Houseverbot imprint as one third of the Winterstrand collective, Simon/off’s unique style has been constantly evolving since then. Being heavily influenced by all sorts of Breakbeats, Techno and IDM-ish sounds , his tunes enjoy support by the likes of DJ Distance (Rinse FM), Bunzer0 (Sub FM) or Rob Booth (Electronic Exploration). Simon/off’s intoxicating live-shows and Dj-Sets have already fascinated
audiences all across Europe. For 2010 digital releases on Haunted Audio and 12″s on US-based label Surface Tension and Immerse Records (UK) are scheduled.

Hailing from Helsinki, Teeth is (alongside RRKK) part of the Ceebrolistics experimental Hip-Hop collective. He has had releases under a number of different names and genres and is working on an EP for Black Acre Records. His excellent tune ‘Grano’ is featured on our Deep Rooted compilation.

TKR, born in 1982 as Thomas Schwarz, has come a long way since he first launched his musicial career in 1998 as Drum and Bass DJ in Thuringia / Germany. After a few years of being addicted to fast broken beats, co-founding a party series and being influenced by artists like Klute, Polar, Cause 4 Concern or Total Science, it was a logical step for him to begin producing electronic music back in 2001. After re-locating to Jena / Germany, were he still lives, his musical turning point came at the end of 2007 when he got in touch with Dubstep for the first time. This style of music was totally new to him and he was absolutely impressed by the deep progressive basslines and the slow beats. Dubstep combines all the music genres he likes and lets him explore a range of different tempos and styles, e.g. combining techno with dub and phat basslines with house samples. Because of this new musical influence he decided to leave the Drum and Bass scene behind and concentrate on producing such deep beats and bass. The first result was Submodulation – a collaboration project in 2008 with one of his best friends, Norman Bogatzki alias Mr. Boogie from Potsdam / Germany. They were a good team and early results include tunes like Big Up! feat. Phokus (Scrub a Dub), Screamer (Fake ID) or Ruff ‘n Tuff (Police in Helicopter). Starting 2009 TKR decided to go his own way musically and his current productions are more inspired by Dub and Minimal and more soulful music. TKR’s tunes and remixes were signed to Redvolume (SE), Bassism (US), Paradise Lost (US) and Barish Records (DE). Thomas also started working for Barish Rec. – one of the first German Dubstep-oriented Labels – as A&R around this time and continued to do graphics for artists, label profiles and party flyers as TKR-Artworkxxx. In January 2010 he founded his own dubstep & electronic music labe – Stoke Audio – which is geared towards deep and technoid dubstep sounds. Stoke releases digital-only thus far but is planned to expand onto the vinyl market in the future. Signed artists include Twisted & Rakoon from the famous Dutty Dubz and The Next from WobWob crew among others. Latest developments include an upcoming album release on Nexgen Records and a massive 12″ EP on Paradise Lost.

Twisted is a member of international Dubstep collective Dutty Dubz. Together they are responsible for releasing a large number of tracks on labels worldwide. Twisted began his foray into the world of DJ’ing in 1993 through his love of Drum and Bass. He made the logical progression to making his own music on computers in 2003. Twisted decided to slow the tempo and up the bass in 2006. Dutty Dubz were born and have progressed ever since representing Dubstep in Germany in a big way! Twisted has released tracks on 2nd Drop, Off Road, Soul Shakerz, Dub Bullet, Rottun, Trackdonalds, R8, Heavy Artillery, Redvolume, Aeclectrick and others.

Vandera is a Master in testing new psychoactive drugs during the day (as a scientist) while at night, the Dutch DJ/producer composes bass music with surprisingly similar psychostimulant properties.
His melodic sounds are easily administered intra-aurally, with certain pressure waves specifically engineered for big rig sound systems. Also on the market are more blissful hallucinogenic sounds designed for afterparties or autonomic use. Both varieties from London’s psychonaut Vandera are exemplified here, and signed to beat suppliers such as Echodub (UK), Bassism (USA), Subdepth (UK), Stoke Audio (GER), Car Crash Set (USA), and Paradise Lost (USA/GER).
Extra DJ sets with long kinetic half-lives can be found on mixcloud. For bookings, remix inquiries and label signings send a message through soundcloud, or find the mad scientist on AIM: vanderamusic.
Repeated administration has been shown to result in uncontrolled nodding of the head and persistent yet pleasant psychological dependence.

Vesicle is a dubstep/experimental collaboration of two finnish producers Naraka and Foment. Naraka has been into electronic music for as long as he can remember. Drum&bass is the second nature for him, but recently he fell in love with the inspirational sound of dubstep as well. Foment is a self learnt drummer interested in variations of sound design and experimental music. The duo has known each other since primary school. They began experimenting with different kinds of styles in 2007 and eventually drifted into producing dubstep.
